Wow, I am blown away. I just watched this Youtube video on how the classroom has changed. It has evolved into a mutlimedia learning experience. It is no longer chalkboard/desks. The video demonstrated how the rest of the world is teaching their kids for tomorrow and not yesterday. They are teaching students to prepare for future jobs and we aren't.
I loved one of the last quotes, "Connect to your students, connect them to the world!" We have a choice, we can pretend that our students learn best by pen/paper or we can acknowledge their world has changed using multimedia and prepare them for their futures.
